1550nm Pulsed Laser Source for DTS

The 1550nm pulsed laser source for DTS of Connet is a pulsed laser source with high efficiency based on eye-safety wavelength. The laser employs the configuration of master oscillator power amplifier (MOPA) and the high performance narrow linewidth DFB (external cavity) semiconductor laser as seed source and meanwhile internally integrates the signal generator. Using the optimized design of the multi-stage amplification, the laser can achieve the high peak power with the ns level pulse width, which is very suitable for the areas of the distributed fiber temperature measurement system (DTS), optical fiber sensing, LiDAR and some other related applications.


Connet 1550nm pulsed laser source for DTS employs the modularized package with compact structure and small size. It adopts the 5-12V direct-current supply and the industrial standard DB25 communication port design. The user can easily operate the laser through the upper computer software. In addition, the pulse output also can be achieved by the external TTL trigger signal, which is very suitable for system integration.

Notes:

The output fiber type of the laser is the multimode fiber (MM-62.5/125). The output pulse will fluctuate correspondingly while the pigtail fiber is wobbled. After the pigtail fiber is stabilized, the output pulse will restore to stability.
