1550nm Long Pulse Single Frequency PM Fiber Amplifier

Connet Laser Technology Co., Ltd.2018-08-27

The 1550nm long pulse single frequency polarization maintaining fiber amplifier of Connet is a modular fiber amplifier specially designed for long pulse (100ns-2us) applications. Based on the eye-safe operating wavelength, this fiber amplifier can achieve the high pulse energy output up to 800uJ.

This 1550nm long pulse single frequency PM fiber amplifier is suitable for amplifying the single frequency narrow-linewidth light source. The linewidth can be narrowed to kHz level. Through the multi-stage optical amplification in the optimized design, this type of amplifier can suppress the nonlinear effects, such as the stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS), realize the high pulse energy output, maintain the spectral characteristics of the signal light, meanwhile obtain the near diffraction-limited beam quality and keep the high polarization extinction ratio (PER) at the same time, which is the ideal amplifier for the coherent Doppler wind-measurement LIDAR system.

Features

• Eye-safe wavelength: 1550nm
• Single pulse energy: 800uJ
• Adjustable repetition rate: 5-20kHz
• Pulse width: 100-2000ns
• Near diffraction-limited beam quality: M2<1.5

Applications

• Doppler wind-measurement LIDAR
• Environment monitoring
• Pollution monitoring
• Other scientific research
