These fiber lasers use a unique traveling wave cavity design combined with tunable filters or other wavelength selection mechanisms to achieve a wide range of tunable fiber lasers. This type of light source is different from tunable semiconductor lasers, although Connet can also provide tunable laser sources based on semiconductor lasers.
These interesting tunable fiber lasers have outstanding performance, such as the spectral side mode suppression ratio (SMSR) is excellent, with very low ASE noise.
