Connet 2.0um band MHz linewidth CW fiber laser is based on the main oscillator power amplification (MOPA) scheme. The seed laser uses a single longitudinal mode (SLM) diode laser, such as DFB or DBR, whose linewidth is narrow to the order of MHz typically less than 10MHz. Cascaded multi-stage low-noise fiber amplifier is used to increase the output power, the highest output power can reach 100W.
Connet uses the unique stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) suppression technology to deal with the nonlinear effects of amplifying narrow linewidth single frequency signals. Both linear polarization output and non-polarization-maintaining output are available. Standard products can be desktop or OEM modules.
