Connet has developed a wide range of high-performance broadband ASE light sources to meet the practical needs of a wide range of fields. Target markets include fiber optic sensing systems, fiber optic gyros, and optical device testing and manufacturing, such as the production of fiber Bragg gratings and optical waveguides, and OCT. Working bands include 1.0um, 1.5um and 2.0um, output power from several mW to several W, standard and gain flat design, Gaussian spectrum and other ASE broadband light sources are available.


Among them, the 1.5um band ASE light source used for high-end fiber optic gyro and precision fiber sensing needs to have extremely high spectral stability, average wavelength stability, low relative intensity noise (RIN), and a wide operating temperature range. Connet uses an optimized optical path design to reduce the coherence of the ASE spectrum, and to achieve a low degree of polarization (DOP), low RIN, high stability, compact and rugged ASE light source module.
