Connet provides extremely rich single-frequency fiber lasers and single-frequency fiber amplifier products for coherent LiDAR, such as continuous or pulsed Coherent Doppler wind measurement LiDAR, coherent imaging LiDAR, linear frequency modulation continuous wave (LFMCW LiDAR ). The conventional lasers used for coherent LiDAR are CO2 lasers, solid-state lasers such as Nd: YAG lasers, semiconductor lasers, etc. Connet uses ultra-narrow linewidth and low noise single-frequency fiber lasers such as CoSF-D or CoSF-R as the seed laser of coherent LiDAR, which has obvious advantages compared with semiconductor lasers. The extremely low phase noise and frequency noise are s inherent characteristics of the single-frequency fiber laser itself. This will bring benefits to the signal-to-noise ratio of the coherent LiDAR system. In order to improve the relative intensity noise (RIN) performance of single-frequency fiber lasers, Connet uses a unique extra-cavity RIN suppression technology that does not affect the phase noise and frequency noise of single-frequency fiber lasers.


Connet can provide key components for coherent LiDAR systems, such as acousto-optic modulators (AOM), to generate optical pulses with a high turn-off ratio. Low-noise cascaded single-frequency polarization-maintaining fiber amplifier is used to increase the output power level, maintain the output beam quality near the diffraction limit, and suppress the stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) effect.
